WEATHERFORD – RJ Powell (football) and Max Bialy (men’s golf) are the newest Bulldogs of the Week. The weekly recognition is brought to you by Wright Wradio, home of SWOSU Athletics for both livestream and radio. 

Powell (Sayre, Okla.) had the best game of his five year Bulldog career against Arkansas Tech this weekend. He racked up a career high 11 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and 2.5 tackles for loss. He also had a forced fumble that SWOSU recovered at the Wonder Boy 14-yard line, setting up the Dawgs for a touchdown three plays later. 

Bialy (Gdynia, Poland) won the inaugural Perkins Intercollegiate for the Bulldogs last week. He became the first ever event champion after recording a three-round score of 11-under-par. This solo title powered SWOSU to win the team title on their home course. Bialy also took home the GAC Golfer of the Week award on Wednesday.
