WEATHERFORD, Okla. -- This week on the SWOSU Coaches Show, Coach Saunders (baseball) checks in with Mike Smith to talk about the upcoming season. We also hear from student-athletes DeAngelo Adkins & Morgan Smith from the basketball program!

 

SWOSU Baseball opens the season February 1 looking to bounce back from a 2022 campaign that saw them miss the postseason for just the second time in GAC history. 

Adkins from men's hoops leads the team in rebounding and in blocked shots. The Dawgs went 1-1 last week and will be looking to have a successful road trip to Arkansas this week.

Smith from women's basketball scored a career high 32 points last week against Southern Arkansas and helped propel the Lady Bulldogs to an undefeated week to kick off 2023. They too will be on the road in Arkansas looking to remain unbeaten in the new year.
