WEATHERFORD – Landry Allen and Hailey Smith have been selected as the latest Bulldogs of the Week, presented by Wright Media — the official partner for SWOSU athletic livestreams and radio broadcasts.

Allen (Tuttle, Okla.) set a new program record with nine blocks in SWOSU's 65–57 win over Missouri Southern last week. She led all scorers with 18 points and added seven rebounds and a steal to go along with the historic defensive performance.

Smith (Prosper, Texas) averaged more than 15 kills and three blocks per match during the GAC Tournament, helping SWOSU reach the championship match for just the second time in program history. She set a new career high with 18 kills in the opening-round sweep of East Central, then followed with 17 more in the final — a team high that would have matched her best if not for the ECU performance. Smith, who opened the week as a First Team All-GAC selection, was also named to the GAC All-Tournament Team for her postseason effort.
