RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – SWOSU Football had two senior wide receivers, Isreal Watson and Deshon Moreaux, named to all-conference teams announced Wednesday by the league office.

Watson (Kansas City, Kan.) was a Second Team All-GAC selection. He ranked second around the conference in catches (71), fourth in yards (761), and fifth in touchdowns (6) – leading the SWOSU receiving core in all three categories. He eclipsed the 100-yard mark two times this season and had his best game against SNU when he hauled in eight balls for 94 yards and two scores. His highest catch total came against Oklahoma Baptist when he finished with 11 receptions which was one shy of tying the school's Division II record.

Moreaux (Beaumont, Texas) was named an All-GAC Honorable Mention. He was right behind Watson in total yards (715) and touchdowns (5) which ranks sixth and seventh respectively around the GAC. He finished with 53 catches but averaged nearly three yards more per catch than Watson. Moreaux posted three 100-plus yard receiving games and saw his best performance in week five against Monticello when he hauled in a pair of touchdowns and achieved 117 yards receiving on only five catches.

Watson and Moreaux headlined a passing attack that ranked second in the league in total yardage and third in touchdowns. The passing game's foundation originated from grad transfer quarterback Tylan Morton who spread the love to 11 different pass catchers including seven of those who had at least one touchdown grab.

SWOSU has now had a wide receiver placed on an All-GAC team in each of the last four seasons and had at least one recognized in every year but two dating back to the start of the league in 2011.
