EUREKA, Mo. – The SWOSU women's golf team hit the road this week to play in the NCAA Ladies National Preview at Fox Run Golf Club. They finished at 15
th in the tournament.
This preview featured nine of the top 18 teams from last year's NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship. Dallas Baptist finished in first with a total of 896. Second place went to Henderson State at 900 even. They were closely followed by West Texas A&M with a score of 901 to take third.
SWOSU was led by
Ashlyn Acosta. This is her first tournament in which she was the top finisher for SWOSU this season. She finished at +29 and T56. She additionally had six birdies throughout the three rounds of play this week. The next two finishers for the Dawgs were
Mikaela Rindermann (T63) and
Georgia Miller (T66).
The Dawgs will take a week off before heading to Broken Arrow to play in the Tulsa Cup, hosted by Rodgers State, October 24-25.
