WEATHERFORD, Okla. – SWOSU Women's Basketball hit 12 three-pointers and scored 30 points in the paint as they routed Oklahoma Baptist 95-65 on Saturday at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center.
The Lady Bulldogs outscored OBU in each of the first three quarters, including a lopsided advantage of 23-6 in the second as they built a 45-21 lead at halftime and never looked back. SWOSU would clear the bench late in the game, with 12-of-13 players to see action hitting at least one field goal.
Makyra Tramble led the Lady Dawgs as she flirted with a triple-double, scoring a team-high 23 points in addition to 11 rebounds, seven blocked shots and three assists.
Tyra Aska had 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists while
Taber Beer had 14 points and
Lauren Ramey reached double figures with 10.
Bethany Franks had six points and three steals while matching Tramble with a team-best 11 rebounds.
SWOSU improves to 15-7 on the year and 10-6 in conference play while also moving to 9-1 in games played at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center. The Lady Bulldogs will not be back at home until the end of the season as they play their next four games on the road, beginning on Thursday in Alva with a rivalry game against Northwestern.
