WEATHERFORD, Okla. – SWOSU Women's Basketball suffered their first loss at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center since February 11, 2017, on Saturday as 18th-ranked Southeastern Oklahoma State downed the Lady Bulldogs 79-69.
After the game was tied 17-all after the first quarter, Southeastern outscored SWOSU in each of the final three frames to total up the 10-point victory. The Savage Storm connected on 9-of-16 three-point attempts, including 7-of-9 in the second half, which allowed SWOSU to not get any closer than seven points in the fourth quarter.

Makyra Tramble, was held to 34.3% shooting from the field and they hit on just 7-of-23 (30.4%) three-point attempts in the loss.
Bethany Franks led the way 23 points – two off her career high – while adding six rebounds and two steals.
Lauren Ramey came off the bench to score 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting while
Taber Beer also reached double figures with 10 points in 22 minutes of action while battling foul trouble.
The loss snaps a 38-game home winning streak for the Lady Bulldogs, who are now 72-10 all-time at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center. Their last home loss came on February 11, 2017, as they dropped an 88-74 decision to East Central.
Now 12-4 on the year and 7-3 in Great American Conference play, SWOSU is on the road twice next weekend to face league foes in Arkansas. First up for the Lady Dawgs is a trip to Russellville to meet Arkansas Tech on Thursday night.
