Setting the Scene
- SWOSU Baseball will host Ouachita Baptist at the Athletic Complex this weekend in Weatherford for a Conference matchup
- The Bulldogs and Tigers will play a three-game series, with game one set for Friday at 3:00 pm and the double header matchup will begin on Saturday starting at 1:00 pm
- Bulldogs enter the weekend 11-9 overall and 7-5 in conference play after winning the series against #9 Southern Arkansas 2-1 last weekend in Magnolia, Ark.
- SWOSU is ranked sixth in the GAC

- Two-time Great American Conference Coach of the Year, winning the award in 2013 and 2016
- Inducted into the Muskogee Athletic Hall of Fame on October 13, 2016
- Earned his 100th career victory at SWOSU against Northwestern Oklahoma State on April 24, 2015
- Previously served as an assistant at SWOSU for six seasons under former Bulldog coaches Charles Teasley and Scott Selby
- Played collegiately at Kansas State following two seasons at Connors State playing on nationally-ranked junior college teams

- In game one against #9 Southern Arkansas,
Tanner Long,
Chase Duncan and
Tyler Benge had two hits apiece and combined four runs scored.
Cooper Cantwell struck out six and allowed five hits and four runs over five innings.
Brant Millerborg entered in relief in the sixth inning and allowed just one hit and five strikeouts.
- SWOSU scored four runs in the fourth inning in game two, but a three-run scored in the sixth inning lifted the Muleriders to the win.
Dakota Jones started on the mound in game two tossing three innings before Hayden Branch.
Gabe Jacobo was the pitcher of the record, taking the loss after allowing three runs.
- In game 3, the Bulldogs got a three-run homer and five RBI from
Alex Pimentel and
Tanner Long, which led to one off the team's season high with 15 hits and 14 runs.
Alex Bedard hat four hits and four runs scored.
