Setting the Scene
- The 2018-19 season of SWOSU Men's Basketball will conclude on Saturday afternoon in Russellville, Ark., as the Bulldogs take on Arkansas Tech at 3:00 pm
- Both SWOSU and Arkansas Tech will be finishing their season prior to the conference tournament after failing to qualify for the postseason
- The Bulldogs are coming off an 87-71 victory over Harding on Thursday evening, which completed a season-sweep of the Bisons for the first time since the formation fo the Great American Conference
- Thursday's victory was the first conference road win of the season for SWOSU and they're headed Tucker Coliseum, where they have lost eight straight games and not won since 2003
 
About the Opponent
Arkansas Tech (11-16, 9-12 GAC)
- ATU has alternated wins and losses in their last five games and they will enter Saturday's game off a 79-78 victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State on Thursday evening
- The Wonder Boys feature the highest-scoring offense in the league at 80.9 points per game, but they've allowed their opponents to average 84.1 points per for the second-worst scoring defense in the conference
- Chad Kline is in his fifth season leading the ATU Men's Basketball program and he has led the Wonder Boys to one GAC Tournament Championship and NCAA Regional appearance

SWOSU Notes
- SWOSU junior guard has wrapped up the Great American Conference's scoring crown and he'll enter the season finale averaging 24.3 points per game for the year
- In addition, Evans ranks fourth in the league in rebounding with 7.4 per game and ninth in assists with an average of 4.0 per contest
- Five SWOSU seniors will play their final collegiate game on Saturday as Daniel Eibel, Jefkins Agyeman-Budu, Luke Lewallen, Nick Shoemaker and Cheikh Fall put on the blue and white for the final time
- Fall reached double figures in scoring for the sixth time this season with 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting at Harding on Thursday night
- Lewallen and Shoemaker are the longest-tenured members of the Bulldog Men's Basketball program as both are nearing the end of their fifth year at SWOSU
- Shoemaker has made more three-pointers than any other player in program history, connecting on his 209th career triple on Thursday night at Rhodes-Reaves Field House
- Eibel has hit a team-best 49-of-142 (34.5%) three-point field goals this season and he's averaging a career-best 6.8 points per game this year
- Kamden Gipson finished two points off of his career-high after going for 18 points against Harding on Thursday
- SWOSU's other freshman starter, Chris Braggs, Jr., also had a good game at Harding, scoring 17 points in 21 minutes of action
- Jackson Dyer scored a career-high 7 points by knocking down all three of his field goal attempts and one free throw on Thursday evening
