Setting the Scene
- Bulldog Basketball goes for their second straight win over Harding on Thursday evening when they visit the Bisons at Rhodes-Reaves Field House in Searcy
- SWOSU defeated the Bisons 71-70 in Searcy last season for their first win at Harding since the formation of the Great American Conference and the Bulldogs handed Harding an 89-82 defeat last month in Weatherford
- In the first matchup this year, SWOSU's single-season scoring leader Tre Evans scored a career-high 45 points while connecting on 27-of-34 free throw attempts
- Harding has a record of 4-8 at home this season while the Bulldogs are 1-11 on the road and 0-9 in conference road games

- A victory on Thursday would give the Bulldogs a season sweep of Harding for the first time since the formation of the Great American Conference
- In the first meeting between the teams, SWOSU's Tre Evans recorded one of his six double-doubles this season with 45 points and 11 rebounds
- Last week, Evans set SWOSU's single-season scoring record and he enters the final two games of the year averaging a league-leading 24.2 points per game, which would also set a new single-season school record
- Phill Baker and Chris Braggs, Jr., had 12 points apiece in the first meeting with Harding as Baker set his career high in both scoring (12) and rebounds (6)
- Nick Shoemaker has knocked down a school-record 208 three-pointers in his four-year career at SWOSU and his 45 made three's this season is the second-most on the team
- Daniel Eibel leads the Bulldogs this year, making 49-of-137 (35.8%) three-point attempts while averaging 7.0 points per game
- Braggs, Jr., missed the last two games but he's SWOSU's second-leading active scorer with 8.0 points per game while pulling down 3.2 rebounds per game
- Kamden Gipson has also had a strong freshman campaign, scoring 7.7 points per game while dishing out 94 assists, the second-most on the team
