Setting the Scene
- Bulldog Basketball plays their final home game of the 2018-19 season on Saturday as they host Ouachita for Senior Day
- SWOSU enters the game on a seven-game slide following a 104-78 loss to Henderson State on Thursday night while Ouachita has won two straight games to improve to 9-10 in GAC play, where they currently sit in eighth place
- SWOSU guard Tre Evans set the single-season record for scoring on Thursday, scoring 29 points against Henderson State to give him 581 points scored this season which is good for a league-leading 24.2 points per game
- Ouachita has won the last four meetings in the series and they are 4-0 all-time at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center while leading the series 13-12 over SWOSU in the NCAA Division II era

- Five Bulldog seniors will play their final home game for SWOSU on Saturday: Jefkins Agyeman-Budu, Daniel Eibel, Cheikh Fall, Luke Lewallen and Nick Shoemaker
- Agyeman-Budu has played out his final two seasons for the Bulldogs and was averaging 5.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per game before suffering a season-ending injury earlier this season
- Eibel has played three seasons at SWOSU after transferring in as a sophomore and he's connecting on 97 three-pointers while wearing a Bulldog uniform
- Fall has played his senior season wearing the navy and white, scoring 5.9 points per game while ranking second on the team with 5.5 rebounds per game this season
- Lewallen is a five-year member of the Bulldog Basketball program and he's appeared in 108 games for SWOSU, making 21 starts
- Shoemaker has earned the nickname of 'Shot Maker' as he became the most prolific three-point shooter in program history earlier this season
- Shoemaker has made a school-record 206 three-pointers in his career, while starting 50 games in his four-year career
- Junior guard Tre Evans has scored more points this season than any SWOSU player in the NCAA era after adding 29 points in the loss to Henderson State on Thursday
- Evans has scored 581 points this season - an average of 24.2 points per game - which surpasses the previous record of 569, which was set by Charles Beauregard last season
