Setting the Scene
- SWOSU Men's Basketball is at home twice this week, beginning on Thursday evening as they host Henderson State at 5:30 pm inside the Pioneer Cellular Event Center
- The Bulldogs were defeated 94-64 by nationally-ranked Southern Nazarene last Saturday and they've not dropped six consecutive games
- Henderson State picked up a pair of wins last week to improve to 11-7 in GAC play, which has them in a three-way tie for fifth place in the league standings
- The recent series between the Bulldogs and Reddies has been owned by Henderson State, with HSU winning seven consecutive meetings to lead it 10-6 overall since the formation of the GAC
 
About the Opponent

- The Reddies have won four of their last five games to move four games over .500 in conference play and they're on the verge of clinching a spot in the GAC Tournament
- HSU ranks seventh in the league in scoring offense (76.5 ppg) behind three double-digit scorers in Chris Johnson (13.0), Rel Johnson (12.6) and Joshua Jones (10.5)

- SWOSU is averaging 78.4 points per game this season, which ranks sixth among Great American Conference teams
