- Tre Evans has recorded five double-doubles this season and two straight after finishing with 25 points and a season-best 14 rebounds on Thursday night at Southern Arkansas
- Evans leads the conference in scoring (23.9 points per game) while ranking sixth in rebounding (7.7 per game) and ninth in assists (4.3 per game)
- In the first meeting with UAM, SWOSU was held to 37.5% (21-of-56) shooting from the field while knocking down 12-of-34 (35.3%) three-pointers
- Chris Braggs, Jr., Daniel Eibel and Evans tied for team-high honors with each player putting up 12 points against the Weevils in Weatherford
- Luke Lewallen finished one point off his season-high with nine points on 2-for-4 shooting at Southern Arkansas
- Kamden Gipson scored in double figures for the seventh time this season, hitting 4-of-9 field goal attempts for 12 points to go along with five rebounds against SAU
- Nick Shoemaker was 1-for-6 from three-point range on Thursday night, extending his streak to 10 straight games with a made three-pointer
- Shoemaker has now made 191 three-point field goals in his career at SWOSU, which is more than any other player in program history
- Evans is ranked ninth in the GAC in free throw percentage, hitting 167-of-209 (79.9%) attempts this season while attempting twice as many free throws as any other player in the conference
- Cheikh Fall hauled in eight rebounds at SAU, good for his fourth straight game with six or more boards, and he's averaging 5.5 rebounds per game for the year
