Setting the Scene
- SWOSU Basketball looks to snap a seven-game slide on Saturday afternoon as they host Harding at 1:00 pm inside the Pioneer Cellular Event Center in Weatherford
- SWOSU and Harding are both in search of their first victories of 2019, with the Bisons having dropped their last eight contests heading into Saturday
- The Bulldogs were handed their third straight home loss on Thursday night as they dropped a high-scoring 103-92 decision to Arkansas Tech while Harding lost 74-61 at Northwestern Oklahoma State
- Harding holds a 10-4 advantage over SWOSU since the formation of the Great American Conference, but the teams split the season series last year, with each team winning on the opposing team's home court

SWOSU Notes
- The return home provided a boost to the Bulldogs offensively as they snapped a six-game streak of score fewer than 80 points with a 92-point outburst against Arkansas Tech
- SWOSU upped their season scoring average to 79.2 points per game, which ranks fourth in the Great American Conference while the scoring defense is ranked 12th and allowing 87.6 points per contest
- The catalyst for SWOSU's improved offensive output was point guard Tre Evans, who flirted with a triple-double on Thursday before finishing with 34 points, nine assists and eight rebounds
- Evans leads the GAC in scoring with an average of 22.5 points per game while also ranking sixth in rebounding (7.1 per game) and ninth in assists (4.5 per game)
- Two Bulldogs - Cheikh Fall and Daniel Eibel - set new season highs in scoring against Arkansas Tech
- Fall recorded his first double-double in a SWOSU uniform with 19 points and 10 rebounds while hitting 7-of-8 field goal attempts
- Eibel finished with 17 points on 5-of-8 shooting from three-point range for his highest-scoring game in three years at SWOSU
- Nick Shoemaker added three made three-pointers to his school-record total, which now stands at 188, and finished with 11 points in the game
 
Looking Ahead
- SWOSU heads to Arkansas next weekend for a pair of conference road games, taking on Southern Arkansas on Thursday evening and Arkansas-Monticello on Saturday
- The Bulldogs will be back at home on Thursday, February 7th, to host East Central before visiting Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday, February 9th
