Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, that was one of the few highlights in the game, which Southeastern won by a score of 86-73. Their advantage would climb to 29 at 61-32 early in the second half before SWOSU used a 10-0 run to make it 61-42 with 15:09 to play. To their credit, the Bulldogs continued to battle for the entire 40 minutes, eventually cutting their deficit to single digits twice in the closing minutes before Southeastern put the game away at the free throw line.
