Zack Saunders (166-134, 9th season)
- Two-time Great American Conference Coach of the Year, winning the award in 2013 and 2016
- Inducted into the Muskogee Athletic Hall of Fame on October 13, 2016
- Earned his 100th career victory at SWOSU against Northwestern Oklahoma State on April 24, 2015
- Previously served as an assistant at SWOSU for six seasons under former Bulldog coaches Charles Teasley and Scott Selby
- Played collegiately at Kansas State following two seasons at Connors State playing on nationally-ranked junior college teams

Northeastern State: Jake Hendrick (57-55, 3rd season)
- Hendrick served as NSU's pitching coach for two years prior to being elevated to head coach
- During his first term as skipper in 2016, he led the RiverHawks to their fourth-straight trip to the postseason
- Was the pitching coach in 2012-13 at Marion Military Institute, a Division I NJCAA member
- Began his coaching career at Stillwater High School as an assistant from 2009-12

- The Bulldogs are coming off of a weekend where they scored 67 runs in three games against East Central, notching 20+ runs in all three games of the series

Bryan Miranda, leading the team with a .457 average, went 12-for-21 last week with three triples and was responsible for 19 of SWOSU's 82 runs in four games (12 runs, 7 RBI)

Jason Nichols got back into the groove in the box last week, hitting 12-for-16 in four games last week including a perfect 9-for-9 day in Saturday's doubleheader against ECU in the final day of the series
