WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Volleyball will try to send its two seniors, Lindsey McCauley and DeLayni Fine, out on a high note on Thursday with a Senior Night and rivalry game victory against Northwestern. First serve is set for 7 pm inside the Pioneer Cellular Event Center where SWOSU will honor its seniors prior to the start of the match.

SWOSU enters the final game of the regular season with a guaranteed spot in the GAC Tournament next week, but its final seeding is still yet to be determined. The Bulldogs currently sit tied for seventh with Southeastern with a 7-8 league record and will either be the No. 7 or 8 seed when the regular season comes to a close.

Back on September 21st in Alva, the Dawgs fell to Northwestern in a five set thriller by scores of 25-21, 19-25, 20-25, 25-21, and 11-15. After SWOSU jumped out to a 1-0 match lead, the Rangers took the next two before the Bulldogs rallied to survive in the fourth. Tied 9-9 in the final frame, NWOSU slowly gained the advantage and went on to pull out the victory on their home court.

DeLayni Fine had success on the attack in her first previous with the Rangers, leading SWOSU in kills with 13 while Danusia Sipa Borgeaud added 10 to her stat line. The offense as a whole as held to a .109 hitting percentage, while Northwestern posted a .163 percentage themselves.

The Dawgs are coming off of a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Southern Nazarene on the road on Tuesday (Nov. 7th), in a match where Kaitlyn Dillon tied the school's single season digs record. The sophomore came into the match needing 14 digs to tie 2011 standout Sladjana Smiljanic with 643 digs in a season and she came away with just that. Dillon will need just one dig come Thursday to break the record against Northwestern.

The postseason will get underway Thursday, November 16 in Hot Springs, Arkansas with the opening round of the GAC Tournament. Depending on Thursday's results, SWOSU will take on either (1) Arkansas Tech or (2) Harding in the first round.
