Setting the Stage
- Bulldog Baseball (17-10) is on the road on Tuesday evening, facing Oklahoma Christian in the second game of a home-and-home season series
- SWOSU won the previous meeting between the teams by a score of 11-5 on March 15 in Weatherford
- The Bulldogs suffered a 7-4 defeat in their last midweek contest against USAO but the Dawgs are 4-2 in midweek games this season

- In his fourth season at OC, where he has led the Eagles to three NCCAA Central Region titles and won 100 games

- SWOSU had 11 hits and used six different pitchers in their win over Oklahoma Christian two weeks ago in Weatherford
- Zach Barton had three hits and scored three times in the game while Tanner Dearman, Trent Troxell and Haden Houska also had two hits in the contest
- Ben Schweinfurth started and pitched 2.1 innings, the longest of any SWOSU pitcher, but Dillon Freie earned the victory after holding the Eagles without a hit in 1.2 innings
- SWOSU's pitchers combined for 10 strikeouts in that game with Quinton Dougherty striking out the side in the ninth inning to close out the game

- SWOSU is back on their home field in the Athletic Complex this weekend to host reigning Central Region Champion Henderson State in a three-game conference series
