Setting the Scene
- SWOSU Volleyball opens the month of November by hosting Oklahoma Baptist, the current Great American Conference leader, on Tuesday evening at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center
- The Bulldogs have won five of their last six matches, but they suffered a 3-1 defeat at Ouachita in their last conference match on October 22
- Oklahoma Baptist has won two of their last three conference matches to improve to 10-3 on the year in league play, one-half game ahead of Harding for first place in the standings
- OBU earned a 3-0 victory over the Bulldogs on October 4th in Shawnee

Oklahoma Baptist (16-11, 10-3 GAC)
- The Lady Bison are alone atop the GAC standings following a 3-1 victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State on Saturday
- OBU is ranked second in the conference in blocks (2.20 per set) and service aces (1.44 per set) this season
- Nicole Fleitman leads the Lady Bison with 293 kills (2.83 per set) while Cadyn Laing has added 213 kills (2.09 per set) and a team-leading 110 blocks (25 solo, 85 assist)

SWOSU: Josh Collins (66-86, 5th season)
- Led the Bulldogs to the best season in program history in 2015, winning 22 games and the GAC Tournament Championship
- Has coached nine All-GAC selections, one GAC Freshman of the Year and one AVCA All-Central Region selection in four seasons
- His teams have earned two AVCA Team Academic Awards and one GAC Sportsmanship Award
- Added the duties of Director of Gameday Operations at SWOSU in the fall of 2014.

Oklahoma Baptist: Anna Howle (247-96, 9th season)
- Has served as the head coach at Oklahoma Baptist since reviving the volleyball program in 2008
- Oklahoma Baptist has won at least 24 matches in each season she's been at the helm, with four Sooner Athletic Conference championships to their credit
- Prior to OBU, Howle enjoyed a standout playing career at Oklahoma and coaching stints at Carl Albert HS and the Sooner Volleyball Club

- SWOSU enters the week alone in eighth place in the GAC standings, one-half game behind Henderson State and Arkansas-Monticello for sixth
- Oklahoma Baptist is atop the standings at 10-3, just ahead of Harding at 9-3 and Ouachita and Arkansas Tech who are tied at 8-5
- Four teams have already clinched their berth to the 2016 GAC Volleyball Championships: Harding, Ouachita, Arkansas Tech and Southern Nazarene

Kaitlyn Dillon has set SWOSU's freshman digs record with 362 (3.89 per set), but her numbers are even better during GAC play as she ranks seventh in the conference with 4.71 digs per set

Blair Dressendorfer is second in the league with 26 service aces (0.47 per set) on the year, with 22 of them coming during conference matches

Kayla Hebert has recorded 30 assists or more in six consecutive matches, with 50 or more in three of those contests, upping her season average to 8.70 assists per set

- The Bulldogs remain at home this weekend for GAC matches against East Central on Friday night and Southeastern Oklahoma State on Saturday evening
- SWOSU concludes the regular season next week with Senior Day on Tuesday at home against Southern Nazarene and the finale at Northwestern Oklahoma State next Thursday
