Setting the Scene- A series previously scheduled to be played in Arkansas has been moved to Weatherford, where the SWOSU Baseball team will host Harding for a three-game set this weekend
- The first two games of the series will be played on Sunday, beginning at 1:00 pm while a single game will conclude the set on Monday at noon
- SWOSU currently sits ninth in the league standings, needing to get into the top six to advance to the Great American Conference Tournament next month in Enid
- The Bulldogs are 2-3 on home league series this season, but they've dropped four straight home games, including a sweep against Arkansas Tech last weekend
- A non-conference game on Tuesday with Cameron will complete a stretch with four home games in three days for the Bulldogs

The OpponentsHarding (23-19, 14-7 GAC)- Suffered a 7-4 midweek non-conference defeat against Arkansas-Monticello on Tuesday, dropping their overall record to 23-19

- Has tutored 14 players who have earned All-GAC status, including four first-team selections, one All-Central Region honoree, one regional gold glove award winner and one MLB draftee
- Named GAC Coach of the Year in 2013 after leading the Bulldogs to a 31-16 record and a second place finish in the conference at 21-9
- Previously served as an assistant at SWOSU for six seasons under former Bulldog coaches Charles Teasley and Scott Selby
- Played collegiately at Kansas State following two seasons at Connors State playing on nationally-ranked junior college teams
- Has a record of 99-81 while leading the Bulldogs, including a 6-4 mark against Harding

Harding: Dr. Patrick McGaha (285-226, 10th season)- In his 10th season as the head coach of the Harding baseball team, where he has led the Bisons to five conference tournament appearances and their first-ever NCAA Tournament berth
- He has led the Bisons to the final three at the GAC Tournament in each of the past two seasons
- Was named the Gulf South West Division Coach of the Year in 2011 after leading the Bisons to a 42-14 record, the best mark in school history
- Previously coached for four seasons at the College of the Ozarks and one year at Pepperdine University

SWOSU Notes- SWOSU is the lowest-hitting team in the GAC with a team average of .246, but the Bulldogs rank third in the league with 47 stolen bases
- The Bulldogs are ranked fifth in the league in team pitching with an ERA of 4.65, led by three-time GAC Pitcher of the Week

- Ouachita Baptist continues to sit atop the standings while Harding is right behind them, trailing by only percentage points
- SWOSU's final opponent, Northwestern Oklahoma State, is right behind the Bulldogs in the standings with Southern Nazarene holding down the league's cellar
