Setting the Scene- SWOSU Football is back at home and looking to break a three-game slide when they host Southeastern Oklahoma State on Saturday at Fast Lane Field
- This will be the first meeting between the teams in Weatherford since 2009 after four consecutive matchups in Durant
- The 2:00 pm kickoff on Saturday will be the second day game of the season for SWOSU and the first at home
- SWOSU and Southeastern have alternated wins and losses the past four years, with SWOSU coming out on top last season 37-27

- This is the third-most played rivalry in SWOSU Football history, behind East Central (91 meetings) and Central Oklahoma (88)
- The Bulldogs have played the Savage Storm in every season since the end of World War II in 1946 (no games played from 1942-45)
- The last time that SWOSU and Southeastern did not meet during a season when games were played was 1933

Karl Hodge leads SWOSU and ranks fourth in the GAC with an average of 84.8 yards per game. Hodge has one rushing touchdown in each game this season and he's scored a rushing TD in a SWOSU-record eight consecutive games
- Hodge now has 1,229 career rushing yards, the fourth-most at SWOSU in the NCAA Division II era and his six touchdowns is tied for fourth in a single season at SWOSU
- The Bulldogs have lost 22 turnovers this season, a mark tied for the most in the GAC and third in all of NCAA Division II

Dalton Jackson and
Justin Tharp continue to split kicking duties for the Bulldogs
- Jackson is averaging 48.8 yards per kickoff, 34.6 yards per punt and has connected on 11-of-13 extra point attempts
- Tharp has assumed the kickoff role of late, averaging 60.0 yards on eight attempts
- SWOSU has only attempted one field goal this season, a 29-yarder by Jackson against SAU that missed its mark

Scouting Southeastern Oklahoma State- Rank fourth in the GAC in scoring offense (37.5 points per game) and total offense (460.8 yards per game)
- On a two-game winning streak with wins over Bacone and Southern Nazarene by a combined score of 98-7
- Most of their offensive damage is done on the ground, where they average 217.3 yards per game behind RBs Devlon Wortham and Ronnie Green, two of the top six rushers in the GAC
