CHICKASHA, Okla. – Gary Inglett notched his third consecutive double-double on Saturday evening, leading the SWOSU men's basketball team to a 75-68 over Science & Arts of Oklahoma.

SWOSU started hot, scoring the first 11 points of the game and they held the lead through most of the first half. After USAO forced a tie at 30-30 with 2:35 to play in the half, the Bulldogs scored the final five points, capped off by a deep three pointer from Kenyan Borders with 13 seconds remaining. The shot sent the Bulldogs to the break with a 35-30 lead.

The Drovers took the lead early in the second half but a 7-0 run including buckets from Inglett and Ante Bozic got the Bulldogs back on top by a count of 42-36. While SWOSU continued to lead, USAO made one last push and tied the game at 62-62 after a pair of free throws from Tyler Reynolds with 5:34 to play.

SWOSU would score the next eight points to reclaim control of the game, including back-to-back three pointers from Trent Washington and Bret Atkins, the latter of which put the Dawgs on top 72-64 and in position to earn their first win.

Inglett played 39 minutes in the game, scoring a game-high 19 points and pulling down 14 rebounds. He was joined in double figures by Washington, who poured in 16 points and hit four three's, and Camphor, who was 3-11 from the field but a perfect 4-4 at the stripe.

"I thought our guys showed a lot of toughness and stuck together in the second half as USAO made their runs," Coach Bob Battisti said after the win. "I was most proud of our road toughness and the ability to hit some big 'answer' baskets that allowed us to pick up a good road victory."

SWOSU is now 1-2 on the year heading into conference play. The Bulldogs will visit Arkansas-Monticello on Thursday before meeting Southern Arkansas next Saturday.
