Both Southwestern Oklahoma State University basketball teams will be in action on the road on Saturday. The SWOSU women will face Missouri Southern at 1 p.m. in Joplin, Mo., while the men visit University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha on Saturday night at 7 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs are 2-1 heading into the weekend after a 96-73 victory over Northeastern State on Wednesday evening. Despite scoring 82.7 points per game,
Michelle Fisher is the only player for SWOSU averaging more than 10 points per game. The Preseason All-American averages 21.7 points per game through three games while
Chelsea Bates (9.7) and
Jessica Penner (9.0) are the next highest scorers for SWOSU.

Missouri Southern enters the game 0-1 after suffering a 75-54 defeat to Drury in their season opener. Nicloe Hartzog and Shonte Clay led the Lions with 14 points apiece against Drury.

SWOSU's men's team will head to USAO looking for their first win of the young season. The Bulldogs finished 0-2 at the SWOSU Classic last weekend, suffering defeats against No. 13 Midwestern State and Angelo State.
Gary Inglett leads the team in scoring, 18.0 points per game, and rebounding, 10.5 rebounds per game, after securing a double-double in both of his first two games as a Bulldog.

Michael Bradley are also averaging at least 10.0 points per game for SWOSU. The Bulldogs will be facing a USAO team that is 1-3 with losses to Northwestern Oklahoma State, LSU-Shreveport and Central Oklahoma and a 70-56 victory over Langston in their most recent game.
