Will Chapman

Will Chapman is in his second year as an assistant men’s basketball coach at SWOSU in 2014-15 after helping the Bulldogs to a second place finish in the Great American Conference in his first year in Weatherford.
 
Chapman joined the Bulldogs after serving as a graduate assistant at Oklahoma Christian in 2012-13, where worked alongside current SWOSU head coach Bob Battisti. At OC, he was involved with the staff for five seasons, playing for the Eagles his first two seasons before joining the coaching staff. He served as a program assistant for two seasons before being elevated to a graduate assistant last season. Chapman worked under legendary head coach Dan Hays while at OC.
 
A native of San Antonio, Chapman earned his bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Oklahoma Christian in May 2012 before completing his first master’s degree in Sports Administration from East Central in July 2013. He is now pursuing additional graduate work at SWOSU.
