RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Keshaun Jackson has been named the GAC Defensive Player of the Week for Week Three, the league announced Monday. 

Jackson had a massive game against Southeastern on Saturday, totaling 15 tackles, including nine solo stops, 3.5 tackles for loss, and two sacks. He also added an interception and a fumble recovery to his stat line. 

The 15-tackle performance marked the second consecutive game Jackson has recorded 15 tackles. His 3.5 tackles for loss against Southeastern are the second-most in a single game by a GAC player this season. 

Through three games, Jackson leads the conference in total tackles with 37 and tackles for loss with 6.5. His four sacks are also tied for the GAC lead. Jackson's production has also placed him among the nation's top defensive players. His 12.3 tackles per game and 2.17 tackles for loss per game both rank fourth nationally.
