RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Kelton Moore has been named the GAC Defensive Player of the Week for Week Eight, the league office announced Monday. 

Moore recorded five tackles, all of which were solo, including one tackle for loss. His biggest moment came late in the fourth quarter when he intercepted a pass at the two-yard line as the East Central offense was threatening near the goal line. It was his second interception of the season. 

With two interceptions on the year, Moore is one of 14 players in the conference with at least two interceptions. He also ranks second in the GAC with 51 interception return yards.
