CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Division II Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) announced its 2025-26 Academic Achievement Award recipients, with SWOSU totaling 69 selections.
Baseball led all Bulldog programs with 15 honorees, followed by football with 11 and women's soccer with 10.
Now in its 19th year, the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards program recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes competing in NCAA Division II championship-sponsored sports. More than 21,000 student-athletes from 179 institutions nationwide earned recognition for the 2025-26 academic year.
To qualify, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, have completed at least two years (four semesters) of college-level work and have been an active member of an intercollegiate team during the previous academic year. The institution's athletic director must also be a current dues-paying member of the D2 ADA.
