BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – SWOSU men's golfer
Conrado Diaz Ermacora capped off his sophomore season with a top-10 finish at the 2026 NCAA Division II Central/Midwest Super Regional, placing tied for 10th in a field of more than 100 competitors.
Competing as an individual after SWOSU narrowly missed qualifying as a team, Diaz Ermacora carded rounds of 70-75-72 at Katke Golf Course to finish at one-over par for the tournament.
He opened the event with a two-under 70, highlighted by five birdies and a two-under back nine, placing him tied for sixth after the opening round.
In round two, Diaz Ermacora battled back after three bogeys over his first five holes and played even the rest of the way to finish with a three-over 75 while remaining inside the top 20.
On Saturday, he used an eagle on the seventh hole to go one-under through the front nine before finishing with an even-par 72. The strong final round allowed him to climb nine spots on the leaderboard into a tie for 10th.
The finish marked Diaz Ermacora's third-best result of the season. He closes the 2025-26 campaign as a Second Team All-GAC selection and NCAA regional qualifier after also placing third at the GAC Championships.
This marks the second consecutive season a SWOSU men's golfer has competed at the Central/Midwest Super Regional.
