WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Sydnee Winfrey (Volleyball) and Maya Thornburg (Soccer) have been announced as the newest Bulldogs of the Week, presented by Wright Media, the official partner for SWOSU athletic livestreams and radio broadcasts.

Winfrey (Canyon, Texas) helped lead the Dawgs to their second win over the Crimson Storm this season, this time via sweep. She totaled 16 kills with just three errors for a .433 hitting percentage. She also added one block and three digs. Her 16 kills marked a new career high for the second-year player.

Thornburg (Richardson, Texas) played a key role in the Bulldogs allowing just one goal against two of the top teams in the conference, Harding and Ouachita Baptist. SWOSU has allowed more than one goal just once in conference play and has held opponents to one or zero goals in eight straight games. The Dawgs are currently riding a five-game unbeaten streak.
