BETHANY, Okla. – SWOSU Baseball captured their first GAC series sweep after coming out with hot bats in the series finale on Sunday, scoring 10 runs in the opening three innings to outpace the Crimson Storm.
The Bulldogs (12-7, 5-6 GAC) will travel to East Central on Tuesday, host Cameron in Weatherford on Wednesday, and finally welcome Arkansas-Monticello over the weekend in a busy upcoming week of baseball.
The Dawgs started their scoring in the second inning, having just one hit in the frame, but four Dawgs were able to cross the plate thanks to five walks and an error.

After innings 4, 5, and 6 were all scoreless, the Bulldogs were able to add three insurance runs in the top of the seventh. A Foufoulas single and Monsour walk set up
Ty Eastwood to hit a single to left field to add a run to the scoreboard before
Kade Folmar launched a double to left center to clear the bases and go up 13-5, putting the home team out of reach.
Sebastian Diaz (W, 1-0) secured his first win of the season behind 3.1 innings pitched, allowing only two hits and zero runs to his name.
