FORT SCOTT, Kan. – SWOSU Rodeo opened up the spring schedule over the weekend at the Fort Scott Rodeo where the women finished fourth and the men ended 14th. Individually,
Chenoa VandeStouwe became the third different SWOSU cowgirl this year to win the women's all-around after her performances in Goat Tying and Team Roping.

Hadley Teut (1x) and her sister
Cheyenne VandeStouwe (2x) as SWOSU's all-around winners this year, meaning it's been a SWOSU competitor in four of the six rodeos so far this year.
Chenoa ended 10th in the average in Goat Tying and fifth in Team Roping. She clocked a 7.3 second time in goats in the long round, good for third, and had a 6.8 second short go time (5th) in roping with partner
Cadon Remington.
Cheyenne (VandeStouwe) was SWOSU's top finisher in any event in the rodeo by ending third in the average in goats. She clocked near identical 8.0 and 7.9 second runs, finishing eighth and then fourth in her two rounds respectively.
On the men's side,
Bob Walter rode a pair of bareback rides for 59 points each and finished sixth. He also finished sixth in Steer Wrestling.
Wyatt Bentz was in a good spot after the long round, sitting in third with a 5.1 second time, but was unable to finish his run in the short go and ended 10th overall in the average.
The teams will now break for nearly a month before competing again at the Garden City Rodeo April 4-6. From there, they'll rodeo every weekend through April to close out the schedule, including at the 52nd Annual SWOSU Rodeo April 10-12.
