Soccer Plays to Scoreless Draw vs Ouachita

WEATHERFORD – SWOSU Soccer played to a 0-0 draw against Ouachita Baptist on Thursday afternoon, remaining unbeaten in Great American Conference play with the result.

The Bulldogs (7-2-1, 3-0-1 GAC) remain one of three teams in the league still without a conference loss, joining Ouachita (2-0-2) and Northwestern (3-0), who plays later tonight. With Thursday's result, SWOSU's 10 points temporarily place them atop the conference standings, pending Northwestern's outcome. The draw also marked the Bulldogs' first tie of the 2025 season.

Both sides had scoring chances but were unable to convert. SWOSU outshot the Ouachita 13-8 and matched them with five shots on goal apiece. Freshman goalkeeper Emma Young recorded her third clean sheet of the season — and her first since opening week.

Each team finished with two corner kicks in the evenly played match.

SWOSU will close the week on Saturday with an 11:00 a.m. Senior Day matchup against Harding. Five seniors will be recognized prior to kickoff.
