RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – SWOSU's Baylor Nash has been named the Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Week following his standout performance against East Central.
The honor marks SWOSU's third Player of the Week selection this season — and the first on the offensive side of the ball. It's also the first weekly conference award of Nash's career.
Nash caught six passes for 146 yards and three touchdowns in the Bulldogs' 38-14 Homecoming win. His three-touchdown outing tied the SWOSU Division II single-game record, joining Shevron Glover (1999), John Haggerty (2007), and Ryan Corbin (2013) and as the only players in program history to do so.
His receptions and yardage were both season highs, and his 42.3 receiving yards per game currently ranks ninth in the GAC.
