WEATHERFORD – SWOSU Volleyball has announced the addition of outside hitter Paris Patterson to the team who will compete for the Bulldogs next fall.
Patterson (Amarillo, Texas) transfers from Cameron University of the Lone Star Conference where she led her team in both kills and points and ranked second in digs. Her 3.58 kills and 4.02 points per set both ranked inside the top-5 throughout the LSC.
"Paris brings a wealth of experience from the Division II landscape," said SWOSU Volleyball Head Coach Josh Collins. "Her expansive IQ and ability to terminate offensively will give her the opportunity to make an impact immediately."
Patterson, a will-be junior, will become SWOSU's 12th upperclassman on the 2024 roster next season, joining nine existing seniors and two other juniors. Prior to her two years at Cameron, Patterson attended Randall High School in Texas where she was an All-State and Academic All-State selection as a senior.
Collins continued. "Paris is a driven student-athlete who will add to our culture on the court, in the classroom, and in the community. She is sure to make Bulldog Nation proud in all aspects of the collegiate experience. We are excited to add her to the family!"
