RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Following his final game as a Bulldog, graduate senior Tate Robards has been named the Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Week for week 11.
He's SWOSU's first offensive winner since week five of the 2022 season and the first Bulldog in any category to earn a weekly honor this year.
Robards threw for a season high 285 yards and three scores against Northwestern over the weekend, needing just 13 completions to do so. He added a pair of rushing touchdowns in the second half to account for five total scores in the game.
It was SWOSU's first time eclipsing the 50-point scoring threshold since 2015.
