ADA, Okla. – The SWOSU Soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss against East Central on Saturday afternoon.
The Dawgs were outshot 22-16 and 10-7 on shots on goal. East Central dominated early, scoring both goals in the first half, where they unleashed 16 of their 22 total shots within the first 45 minutes.
Terra Rybuck came away with eight saves for the Bulldogs, edging ECU's keeper who finished with seven. Six different Bulldogs took two shots in the game and seven put a shot on goal. Final numbers had SWOSU with one more foul, 10-9, and two more corner kicks, 4-2.
SWOSU now sits at 4-7-3 overall and 2-4-2 in the GAC and will head back home to host one of the league's top teams, Ouachita Baptist, on Halloween (Oct. 31) at 3:00 pm at the SWOSU Athletic Complex.
