WEATHERFORD, Okla. – The 2023-24 athletic year kicks off this week for four Bulldog programs. Cross country, soccer, football, and volleyball will all open their seasons on Thursday.
 
Here's a look at what's ahead this week:
 
Tuesday
Volleyball brings some excitement to the Pioneer Cellular Event Center to enter the week with their Blue and White Scrimmage starting at 6:00 p.m.
 
Thursday
Cross Country gets going with their first race of the year at the Rogers State Invite in Tulsa.
Soccer will host No. 16 Emporia State at 2:00 p.m. at the SWOSU Athletic Complex | Stats | Video
Football also starts the year at home, hosting the No. 8 Ouachita Baptist Tigers for a 6:00 p.m. kickoff at Milam Stadium | Stats | Video

Friday
