DURANT, Okla. – SWOSU Baseball had two home runs account for all six of their runs on Sunday but fell 8-6 to Southeastern in the third and final game of the series.
The Bulldogs (7-10, 3-6 GAC) will begin a five-game homestand with a midweek contest against No. 10 Central Oklahoma on Tuesday and another GAC series next weekend against East Central.
Griffin Larsen hit a grand slam in the second inning to put the Dawgs ahead 4-0 and Emilio Trevino homered for a second time on the weekend an inning later.
Following the second home run, SWOSU led 6-4 in the third inning – but that'd conclude their scoring in the contest.
Southeastern got single runs in the third, fourth, and fifth innings to regain the lead and added an extra run of insurance in the eighth.
Bryson Armstrong, Grant Ewy, and Ernesto Hidrogo all pitched in the game.
Aside from Larsen, 2-4, and Trevino, 2-3, Caleb Clines finished 2-5 as part of a lineup that produced 10 hits in the contest.
