WEATHERFORD, Okla. – This week on the coaches show, we hear from SWOSU Football Interim Head Coach Ruzell McCoy, SWOSU Baseball Head Coach Zack Saunders, and SWOSU Softball student-athlete Brianna Cryer!

 

Football has begun Spring practice which will culminate with the Blue/White Spring Game on March 31. McCoy was named Interim Head Coach on January 4, 2023 and has successfully navigated the Dawgs through February's signing day and into spring practice.

Baseball is coming off a 2-1 series victory against Ouachita last weekend and a 12-5 win in midweek action over USAO. They will look to continue that momentum against Southeastern this weekend on the road in Durant. 

Cryer and the softball team finished the opening week of GAC play against Ouachita last weekend. She threw a 5-inning shutout to earn the win in game two but the Dawgs finished 1-2 to start conference.
