Five From SWOSU Basketball Named CSC Academic All-District

WEATHERFORD, Okla. – A total of five SWOSU Basketball student-athletes have been named to College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District teams.

Women's basketball had three earn the academic honor, Macy Gore, Adysen Wilson and Layni Zinn, while the men's team landed two, Mason Hart and Ben Smith.

Academic All-District selections were based on combined academic and athletic performances among other qualifications. One must also hold a 3.5 minimum cumulative GPA.

Selections for track, cross country, golf, baseball, and softball will all be announced later in the spring.

The 202223 Academic AllDistrict® Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top studentathletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic AllAmerica® program separately recognizes women's and men's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First and second-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in March.
