This was a quality win for the Lady Dawgs. They led for the entire 40 minutes of play. Four starters shot over 50% from the field and scored 15-plus points. It was a good team win coming out of the break from the Lady Bulldogs.

An even 40-40 spilt of scoring in the second half from both sides kept the final difference at 10 points. UAM made things interesting after a couple runs and moving to a full court press in the final period, but SWOSU was able to weather the pressure and keep the score just enough out of reach to secure the victory.
SWOSU ended the game at 50% from the field and 26.3% from three, while UAM shot 49.2% overall and 13.3% (2-15) from behind the three-point line. The major advantage SWOSU had that ultimately decided the outcome was turnovers and points from them. SWOSU forced 19 Blossom turnovers that turned into 25 SWOSU points from those turnovers.
