WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Tylan Morton and Launa Torrez have been selected to be the newest Bulldogs of the Week. The award is brought to you by Wright Wradio, the official partner of SWOSU Athletics for both livestream and radio.
Morton (Griffin, Georgia) led the SWOSU football team to its first win of the season and of the Josh Kirkland era on Saturday. He would be the engine behind the SWOSU offense for the entire game. He went 26-39 through the air for 281 yards and three touchdowns with zero interceptions. Morton also added 71 yards on the ground, which led the Dawgs in rushing for the game.
Torrez (Denton, Texas) has been chosen as the other Bulldog of the Week. In soccer’s two games this week, Launa stood out. She scored SWOSU's goals against both West Texas A&M and Oklahoma Christian. She currently leads the Dawgs in goals this season with three. She also now has a streak of three consecutive games where she has scored a goal.
