WEATHERFORD, Okla. – The SWOSU Football team will display its new look and feel on Thursday night with the annual Spring Game, set to start at 7pm at Flex-Chem Field.
The Spring Game is the final stage of spring action for the Bulldogs, having conducted two full weeks' worth of practice leading up the game. SWOSU will be split up into Offense vs. Defense, playing four 15-minute quarters with a running clock.
The game will be streamed on Wright.Media with links posted Thursday on SWOSU social media platforms.
"We are excited to get in front of some fans and give everyone a small sample of what's to come," Head Coach
Josh Kirkland said. "Our team has been working hard this spring and we're going to suit up and get after it on Thursday. I can guarantee a Bulldog victory, that's for sure."
It will be new head coach
Josh Kirkland's first time on the sidelines since taking over the program. SWOSU Football will also host Junior Day earlier in the afternoon where registered class of 2023 recruits will showcase their skills in front of the coaching staff.
SWOSU opens the 2022 season on Thursday, September 1st, in Arkadelphia against Henderson State. Bulldog Nation will have to wait a week to see the Dawgs play in Weatherford, with the Flex-Chem Kickoff Classic set for September 10th against Southern Arkansas.
