The Bulldogs move back to an even 4-4 on the season and will kick off Great American Conference play next weekend on the road against Arkansas Monticello.

GAME ONE
SWOSU 9, ASU 4

Nate Poslethwait (W, 1-1) gave the Dawgs a strong start on the bump through six innings, while the offense tacked on runs in every inning that eventually built a 9-0 lead.

Miguel Soto and
Zach Baxley combined to finish 5-for-7 at the plate, totaling five of SWOSU's eight hits in the game.

Soto hit a pair of doubles and was the only Bulldogs to hit for extra bases. The offense did not bully their way around the bases, but instead, took advantage of six Grizzly pitcher walks and combined that with timely hits to plate runners all game.

Poslethwait ran out of gas in the final inning and needed relief from
Dakota Jones who pitched the final three outs.

GAME TWO
