WEATHERFORD, Okla. -- This week on the SWOSU Coaches Show, we take a look back on the seasons for football, volleyball, and soccer!



Football finished 4-7 in year one of Josh Kirkland. The Bulldogs had two all-conference nods at WR and will look to continue building on the successes of the season. Just a year ago today, the team had wrapped up a winless 2021 campaign. 

Volleyball finished 17-12 and advanced to the GAC Semifinals of the conference tournament before falling in a tightly contested matchup with Northwestern to end the season. They had four All-GAC players and finished 9-1 at home this season. 

Soccer made it a clean sweep of the Great American Conference, winning both the regular season and postseason tournament championships. They finished 9-5-7 overall and qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the fifth time since 2012. An impressive 10 were named all-conference, and three made all-region teams.
