SHAWNEE, Okla. – The SWOSU Volleyball team was on the short end of a three-set match against Oklahoma Baptist, the No. 8-ranked team in the latest AVCA Poll, on Friday night at the Noble Complex.
The Bulldogs struggled to an attack percentage of .083, which included a team-high eight kills for
Chezney Nielsen, who also had 10 digs, while
Taryn Galt had seven kills and
Emma Cohalla added six.
Allie Hoang had a double-double with 22 assists and 10 digs while
Sophia DeSantiago led the Dawgs with 18 digs.
The defeat snaps a four-game winning streak for the Bulldogs, dropping them to 4-3 on the year and 4-2 in Great American Conference play with four matches remaining. SWOSU's next action comes on Tuesday evening as they welcome the same Oklahoma Baptist team to the Pioneer Cellular Event Center at 7:00 pm.
