WEATHERFORD, Okla. – SWOSU Men's Basketball was held to a season-low 48 points as they suffered a 62-48 defeat against Southern Nazarene on Thursday night at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center.
SNU rushed out to an 11-2 lead less than six minutes into the game and built a lead of 19-7 with 10:07 to play in the first half. From that point forward, the Crimson Storm led a lead of at least 10 points for the remainder of the game.
SWOSU hit just 16-of-60 (26.7%) field goal attempts and 5-of-27 (18.5%) shots from three-point range, but the lone bright spot was connecting on all 11 of free throws they attempted in the game. The Bulldogs failed to have a player reach double figures in scoring, with

Kamden Gipson each sharing team-high honors with eight points.
The loss drops SWOSU to 7-9 on the year heading into the regular season finale at Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday.
