WEATHERFORD, Okla. – The Great American Conference Championship Tournament is returning to the SWOSU Athletic Complex for the third consecutive season as SWOSU is set to play host to the field this Thursday-Saturday.

This is the sixth time since 2011 the Bulldogs have hosted postseason play.

SWOSU earned the right to host after securing the 2021 GAC Regular Season Championship last Saturday following a 2-0 victory over Southern Nazarene. With the win, the Bulldogs finished the regular season with a record of 10-1-1 in conference play and one single point ahead of Oklahoma Baptist in the standings.

The Bulldogs have previously hosted the tournament in 2012, 2013, 2016, 2019 and 2020. They have won four GAC Tournaments overall, most recently in 2019 with a 2-0 win over Oklahoma Baptist in Weatherford. The winner of the GAC Tournament earns an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II National Tournament.

On Sunday, the game times were announced for the tournament and are as follows:

Semifinal #1 – Thursday, November 11, 11:00 am: (2) Oklahoma Baptist vs. (3) NWOSU

Semifinal #2 – Thursday, November 11, 2:00 pm: (1) SWOSU vs. (4) Ouachita

Championship – Saturday, November 13, 11:00 am: Semifinal Winners

Both semifinal contests will be broadcast live on Coyote TV and live stats will also be available through SWOSUAthletics.com. Saturday's championship match will be featured on the Great American Conference Sports Network. Links for that video stream will also be available on the athletic website.
