EDMOND, Okla. – Central Oklahoma scored six runs in the second inning and added two in the fourth as they held off SWOSU for an 8-2 victory on Wednesday evening in Edmond.
After falling behind, SWOSU's lone scoring came on a two-run home run by
Alex Bedard in the top of the fifth inning. The Bulldogs were limited to just three hits in the game while allowing eight.
Cameron Spaeth (0-1) took the loss after walking four and allowing five runs despite allowing just one hit in 1.1 innings of work.
SWOSU, now 9-5 on the year, returns to action this weekend with a three-game series at the SWOSU Athletic Complex against #19 Southern Arkansas.
