EDMOND, Okla. – SWOSU Softball pushed their win streak to six consecutive games after sweeping a pair from Oklahoma Baptist on Sunday in Edmond, with games moved to the campus of Oklahoma Christian due to unplayable conditions at OBU.
SWOSU (17-26, 16-18 GAC) is slated to conclude the series on Monday in Shawnee with a doubleheader beginning at 3:00 pm.

The low-scoring series opener featured just nine hits and five runs scored, with each team scoring in the same innings. SWOSU put two runs on the board in the third with a two-run home run from
Amanda Moreno then added a single run in the sixth as
Hannah Morris tripled and scored on a passed ball to make it a 3-1 lead at that point. OBU scored in the bottom of the inning, but they were shut out in the seventh as the Dawgs took the game.
Alisa Friesen (8-10) tossed a complete game, allowing just four hits and two runs with three strikeouts.

A grand slam by
Kaytlin Donaldson in extra innings broke the night cap wide open as SWOSU pulled away for the win after the teams went to extra's tied at 1-1. In the eighth, an RBI single from
Amanda Moreno got SWOSU on the board and a pair of walks loaded the bags for Donaldson, who slugged the biggest hit of the game over the fence. OBU got one run back in the bottom of the eighth and left two runners on when the game ended.
Alisa Friesen (9-10) collected her second complete-game victory of the day after holding the Lady Bison to two runs despite 10 hits in the game.
